Is it alright to feed my chickens raw hamburger meat and hot dogs. They really like this for their treats, we have switched them to dads fishing worns sometimes.

Oh yeah. Mine eat burger, meal worms, chicken...last night they ripped apart a tree frog!

I feed my chickens cooked rice for the first time last night and they loved it.

Our got a couple of 'pinky' squirrel babies that must have fallen out of the nest. They were at their velociraptor best.

Chickens are opportunistic feeders.

I get meat scraps from the meat shop for my dogs. I feed them to the chickens also. Since the scraps are very fatty, they will be a great source of energy this winter!

My girls love canned cat and dog food, tuna, and just about any meat I give them. The only thing they won't eat is dead rodent.
