I have a hen laying an egg with what I think are meat spots nearly every day. They're in the whites not the yolk like I'm seeing described tho.
I'm reading its common for older hens but she's only 1.5 yrs old. Could it be from stress or because she's a production breed (isa)?
I know she's under stress because we had a predator attack that killed most the flock. Of the 3 laying age left, she's the only one laying right now.
Mainly wondering if the spots are temporary due to stress, or to expect them long term.
Thanks
