Several of my chicks appear to have come down with coccidiosis. I've moved them indoors to keep them warm, and have forced a few syringes of corid water and refilled their waterer with the same. They were on medicated feed, but I know that cancels out the corid, so tonight I switched it for the unmedicated. Is the corid I gave today going to do any good, though, since they've had the medicated feed in their systems for a while now?

No, the Corid does not cancel out the medicated feed. It is the same drug, amprollium in both, but the medicated feed only contains a small amount of the drug--not enough to treat an outbreak.

You may have confused that Corid can cancel out a coccidiosis vaccine, which is sometimes given at hatcheries if requested. Cori plus medicated feed is okay together, and will not cause an overdose.

After treatment has finished, giving some form of probiotics is good to do for a few days. I would use tsp per chicken of something like plain Chobani Yogurt, and others may use probios powder or another commercial product.

Thanks so much! I must have indeed confused them. I hope I don't lose another overnight. So worried. :(

Yes, I hope they do okay. They need to be drinking medicated water. If not drinking well you can give undiluted liquid Corid or powder Corid 2 tsp in 2 tsp of water, and give it 2 drops twice a day to boost them.
