I was unaware when I bought starter feed that it can be medicated. I was told this after I had put the feed into a plastic container and tossed the bag that it may have been. My chicky chicks just started laying a week ago this past Sunday. I have not saved their eggs since I was unsure of the feed. Since they just started laying I have not given them the starter feed and give laying feed now. Is one week enough time for the started (if medicated) to be out of their system so I can save their eggs?

The medication that is in chick starter does not enter the egg.
