Medicated Starter or Starter Food

I just bought more regular starter food for my 6 or 7 week old chicks. After I got home I realized that I had bought Medicated starter for them when I first bought them, they were then about 1 to 2 weeks old. I just today bought 2 1 day old chick to eventually put with the others, should they be on Medicated starter food or is regular starter OK?? New to all this, and thanks in advance for the advice!!

Medicated or non-medicated is fine. Either way, watch for signs of coccidiosis. Amprolium in the feed is at such a low dose that in certain areas, it doesn't prevent cocci anyway. You can keep them on medicated up till the time they are about to lay.
