The chicks are 6 weeks old now and all but 1 boy have been rehomed. I ended up with 3 girls from Nugget and 1 girl from momma. As of yesterday names were finally settled on. This time around i discouraged my daughter from naming them early so she didn't get too attached to the boys. Nugget's 3 babies are Butter, Kookie, and Snowball. Kookie is the only one that is her actual chick and i noticed in the past few days she's developing a tiny mowhawk like her momma. Momma hen's 2 babies are named Snickers and the only boy left is TJ *Toothless Jr*. I wish i knew someone who wanted a young cockerel who didn't plan on making him dinner as TJ is feathering out like his daddy did and i expect him to look like Toothless when grown.
