It was my birthday on the weekend and before school ended one of my friends told me he was going to give me a chicken as a gift. I thought he was joking but he actually brought me one today.his hen matched her out. She hates being caught but after you do she loves cuddles. And falls asleep quickly and seems sweet. She sleeps with the eye that faces me closed and keeps and eye out with the other. She is a mixed breed xosha chicken.

Meredith the 'birthday chicken'.

That would be a good title. She got of her enclosure today. Nearly gave me a heart attack. I started freaking out because I could not see her and then I turned around and saw her. I have her somewhere safe now.

OH MY GOD THIS CHICKEN. Its like she freaks me out for fun. So I went to lock in the chickens last night just after dark and I also wanted to make sure Meredith was ok And so I go to look for her and I can’t find her anywhere and now and again I can hear her chirpping but I can’t see her anywhere. So I poke around in between the Silkies and I hear hear chirp again so at this point I’m freaking out and having a mild panic attack and so I go outside the coop and I look in the trees But I can’t see her anywhere so finely I go to look on more time in the coop and I hear her again so I turn around and there she is parched above me and beehind me above the door.

This chicken is soo mean. she just chases on of my rooster in circles. She even dose that thing where you change directions to try and catch them.

She is adorable! How old is your rooster? If he is not yet fully grown, (7+ months or more) pullets and hens will bully the boys.

I’m pretty sure he’s older. but Mer has a very big attitude. She don’t take sh*t from no one. But I’d say they are under just over 7 months.

Thank you. She’s gotten a lot bigger and muscley she’s become a very pretty hen.she’s also the kind of broody that will attempt to kill your hand and when you move her act like I’m slowly killing her with and axe
