Meet my chicken BFF (rip Moonie)

My chicken best friend, Moonie, who passed away last month was the most memorable hen I ever met. She once dislocated her leg after she fell. I nursed her back to health, but, then, her other leg got caught on a string, making her other leg hurt. But she bounced right back up. She was so inspiring. When I let her back out with the rest of the flock, they would pick on her a lot. But guess what? A few weeks and she became one of the top hens! I was so proud of her. I miss her.

Sorry to hear about your bird. We get so attached to our animal friends that when they pass ir can really hurt. But know that she is waiting for you on the rainbow bridge, and one day she'll be back in your lap snuggling and wanting you to pet her again.
