MEET NUGGET! Free to a good home

This is Nugget, a Red Laced Wyandotte bantam. I had bought him thinking he would be a hen but he turned out to be a rooster. They even sexed him in the egg! Oh wells, he is a handsome handraised bantam about 3 months old. He follows us around the yard like a pet, though whether he's being affectionate or territorial i would never know. hehe. I'm trying to find him a new home since the city i live in does not allow roosters. i am willing to ship him to you or deliver him by car if you live in california. please let me know asap if you would like to have him as i only have 7 days to find him a home before they require me to send him to a pound which i really would be heart broken to do. thanks!

How do you sex a chicken in the egg? DNA would be the only way.

Thats what the pet store told me. i'm not a experienced breeder or anything like that. i'm just trying to find a good home for my rooster.

I believe chicks are vent sexed shortly after hatching.
