Meet Picasso (video)

um, I think Picasso is a cockerel. Very cute though!!!:love

I know, right? It's tricky I used to doubt that she was a pullet too, but I rescued her she was fully featherd so I estimate 4 weeks old at the time she came. Then I've had her for about 8 weeks now which means she is about 3 months old the SS just grow different than other breeds, very slow to grow, plus since she had crop issues as a baby that could of stunted her growth too. She has her saddle feathers in too, which are poofy and have a nice round end so now I know its a girl :)

Actually I have a chick I hatched a EE who is 4 weeks younger and is almost the same size as picasso lol

Thanks! I have 29 chickens
1 buff hen turned roo
7 buff orpington 6 hens 1 roo
20 Easter Eggers, one I hatched on my own from one of their eggs just this September, there is 1 egger roo amongst the 20
And then my rescue chick picasso
No bantams though I was tempted at tsc this year for bantams I have enough drama now lol

I have to keep those flocks separate bc ultimately integration didn't work bc of the roosters
