I used to have a cockeral but once he started to crow, I had to get rid of him. I gave him to my dad, who lives on a farm, and my poor little baby was attacked and killed by the neighbors dog just a few months later.
My DH is going to flip when he eventualy finds out.
I'm not telling him. Iam just going to hope that the few hours he is home after 12 hour shifts that he won't here him.
Oh and that my neighbors don't notice as well. Iknow tht is alot of hoping but I don't want to part with him just yet. I know that I am the only one who is really excited that he crowed.
Everyone keep their fingers crossed that no one will notice him for a while
Here's my baby, Sir Feisty Roo. He's just shy of 13 weeks and has only recently distinguished himself as the rooster of his flock of 14 girls. He has yet to start crowing, but I watched him chase off a squirrel today.
