Hello everyone!
4h teen that has had chickens for a few years now. Finally joined the site because I would love to thank everyone for the wonderful advice in the threads I find whenever I google search chicken questions. Our family has a large variety of chickens but we breed copper marans and wyandottes. Also getting Into seramas as my show breed. Nice to meet everyone!

Nice to meet you Haley. Seramas are great - a big chicken in a small package. My friend has two serama hens - when they decide to go broody, they kick the dog out of his bed and he's afraid to go near them.

Welcome to BYC, Haley. Glad you decided join our flock. I love the chocolate eggs of the Marans. In my personal opinion, they are the prettiest eggs in the chicken world. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

Welcome to BYC, Haley! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

I'm a younger member too. Not in 4-H thought because we don't have one where we live

Good luck with your flock! Wyandottes and marans are lovely birds. So are searmas. I used to have a silver sebright. She was so beautiful. Looked just like a mini wyandotte.
