Memphis here and we have decided to get chickens!!!

Anyone in our area have any advice? I think we have decided on Barred Rocks, don't have a huge yard (because of an inground pool we loose a lot of space) so we are going to start with 3 and consider adding a 4th down the road. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!

I am also in Memphis, I don't have a lot of advice for you since my babies are not arriving until next week. I am getting 2 EE's, 1 Black Austrolorpe, and 1 Rhode Island Red. Glad to know there are others in the area.
