Merging 2 Young Flocks

Hi everyone! I have a quick question.
I am in the process of merging flocks. One flock consists of 2 cockrels and 6 pullet BOs that are 12-13 weeks old. My other flock consists of 3 BSL, 3 SLW and 3 BR pullets. All of them are 7-8 weeks old.
They've all been in the coop with each other for about 2 weeks or so, with the younger crew being in a space that is sectioned off with chicken wire.
Yesterday I let the younger crew join join the older crew in the run. It went great! There was minimal chasing, pecking, etc. My alpha cockrell has been awesome! He is the one who got the younger girls to come out of the coop and he checks on them. They all put themselves up last night. I did close the "door" to their area to keep them situate separated untili let then it this morning. Today they have been out together all day with minimal pecking, etc again.
My question... if I am going to have problems that can arise when merging flocks would I have an idea by now?
I want to take the temporary wall down but I don't want to do it too soon.

I usually give it at least a week of supervision before I feel I can make that decision. After about 3 days you will start to see more true behaviors and interactions.

They all put themselves up last night. I did close the "door" to their area to keep them situate separated untili let then it this morning.

So they all went into coop and the littlers went into their area on their own before you closed their door.
I'd keep the door closed at night for a few nights, then leave it open 24/7 for a couple weeks before taking down the wall.

Sounds like a great integration!
Nice coop and run too...do you have a build thread where we can see it all?

Yes! Last night some of younger ones roosted with my BOs and 1 of my BO pullets went and roosted with the rest of the younger girls. If it continues to go well that wall is coming down next week.
I did post my coop being built. It's titled My Coop...a work in Progress or something close to that. I updated it not to long ago.

Adding your coop page link so it show under your avatar
is under 'Account', then 'Personal Details'.

Then scroll down to 'My Coop' field and paste link there.
