I am a backwoods Kentucky native, returning to my roots, now living in a jungle in Merritt Island Florida.

I have 3 varieties:

French Maran
Plymouth Barred Rock
Jungle Birds

As a child, every yard had a garden and a flock of chickens.

It's time we return to reality.

It’s wonderful to have you here! I agree that having chickens and a garden are a great way to keep in touch with our roots, and can really help relax us.
I think you have the perfect breeds! The only thing I’d add is Ameraucana or EE. Do you have photos of your birds and setup?

Here is an idea of how to incorporate tunnels into the garden.

I keep meaning to make tunnels around the perimeter and down every other isle.
