Rescued a male bluebird from our wood stove this morning. Let it go. Fifteen minutes later, he was back in it.

I guess his Mrs. is telling him she likes that fancy silver thing on top of the house for her Home Sweet Home. Now, today's assignment: climb up there with some wire and wrap it so he can't do it again.
 
LOL, gotta love those persistent birds! Woodstove as incubator.........might work!

I'm absolutely convinced that bluebirds are the stupidest birds on this earth. We put little birdhouses up for them all over the place yet they insist on building nests where the cats can get them. Anytime I find a cat with a bird in it's mouth or a present brought to me by a cat, it's a bluebird.

I have a bird trying to build a nest in my grill! So I have to keep the lid up, so it isn't so private!
