Metal run in the snow?

Is cattle panel as hard to work with as hardware cloth? We found that stuff so difficult to cut and attach to the mini run.

Lol, HC does take some getting used to. Cattle panels are easy to bend into a arch, but seeing they are a much heavier gage metal, bolt cutters at a minimum are needed to make a cut. A angle grinder with a cutoff wheel is the ideal tool for cutting them.

Would one of those super long socks filled with salt help? (if it's chicken safe) Like the ones people put on their roofs to prevent ice dams? Haven't tried this myself, just throwing it out there haha
