Metal Waterers & ACV, Wazine, etc.

I recently switched to side-mounted nipple waterers, and they're working great! But the lever/nipple and spring are made of metal. The product description says they're made of iron and are chrome plated.

I assume I should avoid apple cider vinegar with these? Is there anything else I should avoid due to the metal component? Is it safe to use with wazine treatments? Thanks!

For a couple years, I used the side-mounted nipple waterers. If you have iron in your water, the nipples will erode also.
