Metzer Imported Diseased Toulouse That Impacts Male Fertility

I ran into an article and thought others would want to know that have purchased waterfowl from Metzer's in the last few years. From the website of Tani Creek Waterfowl:

This new infectious agent, Mycoplasma species 1220 was first observed in the US in Toulouse geese at Metzer Farms (Salinas, CA) in 2014. This infection eventually results in a complete loss of fertility in males and currently there is no cure. Birds may appear perfectly healthy with the only outward sign being reduced fertility in the breeding season. http://organicducksandgeese.com/
