Michigan Chickenstock 2017

All the ash trees here are dead!!! I'm not sure what varieties they were though. I will have Belgian d'Uccles, white Chanteclers, and maybe others, and could bring lilacs too. Mary
Most of the trees killed by the EAB were white ash and black ash were hit hard too. The green ash seems to be resistant to the EAB.
I think it was reactive of the DNR to do the wholesale harvest of the ash trees rather than look for a method of resistance. The green ash could have a natural genetic resistance that could have been developed for the rest of the ash population.
