Anyone know of anyone who sells ducklings in the Genesee County area of Michigan (or nearby)? I have chickens, but want to add a couple of ducklings. I was hoping to get some soon to keep in the house with a heat lamp to get them socialized with people before it gets warm outside, and they go live out there. Thank you!

I have heard chickens can peck at each other or ducks.... so you might consider separating them within the coop to keep them safe or even consider adopting adult ducks, so they can hold their own. I know a chicken owner who gave away the few ducks they had because her chickens picked on them so much. I took in other people's ducks & even ducks try to pick at each other a bit, so I would separate the new ones, especially at night, at first. Try looking on Flint Craigslist.

Depending on how far you want to drive, you could check out other regional sites like Detroit (or Ann Arbor, Saginaw, Lansing, Etc. Craigslists.
