Hi to all,I had my first hatch from an Incubator on Saturdaynight. The first 3 came just fine but the other 2 are small and even smaller.
They're lil Frizzles looks like black & blue. The last 2 took a long time to hatch due to the humidity at hatch time and being in the Mountains does'nt help that at all. I was afraid to intervene to soon and end up hurting them ,which I guess I may have done anyway.Next time I'm putting a big pad or sponge in there for more humidity! One ended up a tad smaller than the others with a crooked toes on 1 foot and the other is super small. They're all eating & drinking and appear to be fine, the first 3 look totally normal. I was wondering if any of you may have had the same deal hatching a micro mini chickie and did it growup ok? I figure if it was weak it would not have hatched at all. Here's hopping the next time goes better!!

the last ones to hatch allways seam smaller..thats the way its been with my bantam chicks...

I hatched out a serama chick last october that was super tiny (the size of a beer bottle cap. She is full grown now and weighs 8 1/2 -9 oz

Well turns out he was not meant to be. He did'nt make it lastnight.
I'd hate to have him growup just to be picked on later.

The other chick is doing ok,I'm hoping for the best. The other 3 are being nice to it.
It does have a toe or two that fold under so he's kinda stumbley. Is there a way to fix that?
