Midget Silkies? Is it a problem?

I have a silkie chick, Pixie, that is half the size of her sisters. They all hatched out on the same day and they are all growing. Pixie is just much, much smaller than the other chicks.

I recently read this thread https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=158300 were the OP talked about a midget silkie.

Should I worry about Pixie?

There are several things that could be holding the chick back and most of them will not correct themselves over time. But the main reason chicks fall behind is that larger birds often nudge them away from the feed.

What I would do is to boil up some extra eggs and mash them up real fine and mix about 50/50 with the chick starter. Feed the chick this mixture twice daily off by itself and see if there is any improvement.

She gets a nice full crop everyday and I see her eating (A lot! for such a tiny chick!)
She hatched out of a small egg. Will she just be a tiny chicken?

I like tiny chickens!
