Midnight Majesty Maran

I have 8 different breed pullets, and this one is the only one who I think could be a rooster. She's a little over 12 weeks and is a midnight majesty maran. Any guesses?

Midnight Majesty's are sex linked...Black Copper Marans roo x Barred Rock hen. Males will be barred, females will be what you have.

Your welcome...she's very pretty and should get some lovely eggs from her.

I've got some hatching on the 4th I'm excited for to replace one of mine that passed last year. She was super friendly and docile.

That's so exciting that you're hatching chicks. I love raising chicks and ducks. We've had ducks for over a year, and my daughter doesn't like their eggs, so we figured we'd add a few chickens.

I'm hatching chicks from 3 broodys this weekend and 8 broodys so far this year. The Midnight Majesty's weren't a planned hatch but I ran out of eggs to set in the Marans coop...so I set them under a hen in my mixed flock that went broody.
