I am very excited for you. My DH and I mulled over buying our local feedstore about a yr ago, was just the wrong time. Anywhoo, the people that bought it started a swap meet on the first saturday of every month. It was a HUGE success, so much so, they now do it 1st and 3rd sat of the month. They advertise it all over craigslist farm and garden and big signs up around our very small town. They have drawings for free bags of feed throughout the day and provide hoses etc for the animals needs. Really cool, Channel 13 news even came out and did a story, but I couldn't find a link to share. I have seen the Pierson swap mentioned on here by a few other BYC'ers that have been.
