Well, I've decided to create the Perfect chicken by crossing some of my favorite Breeds. But how?, Is it Costly, What do I need?
Here are a few ideas:
Jærhøn X Orloff,
Malay X Denizli,
Turken X Lakenvelder.

You will need your breeding pens, brooding boxes, brooding pens,and butchering supplies, or people to buy the off spring birds that don't fit into your breeding program. It will take years to get your strain to look like you want it, so between feed and mantaining your coops you will have some money invested in it.
It is tough making your own strian/breed I raise sq rirs and working on making a crele plymuth rock.
