Miissing feathers, pink underside, laying around and heavy panting

We purchased the two as chicks. They are now 9 weeks old or close to it. Not sure what breed. But something like California giant? These two are kind of seditary, who wxot the coop and just lay there. They also seem to walk lame. My biggest concern in the missing feathers and exposed skin rhat looks inflammed. They look alert and seem to eat and drink without issue. Have not seen the poop. Can anyone identify the breed and what could be troubling these hens?

Could they be cornish cross meat birds? Those are meant to be butchered around the age of 6-8 weeks old, and they can have very weak legs, sometimes suffered broken legs. Where did you get them? Many people accidentally get meat birds at feed stores. I don’t know if that is what they are or not, but just a suggestion.
