About a month ago, I processed my first two birds. Tonight one had a hot date with the crock pot.
I have to say, he was yummy! There's something about free range meat that just tastes better than the stuff from the store. I felt good knowing that this bird had a good life: fresh air, sun, and grass under his feet. DH and I are thinking about doing it again on a larger scale when he returns from deployment.
