Today was a milestone for my 6 week old Ameraucana's and Dominiques! They got to go outside and run around in the yard for awhile. You should have seen my husband and I chasing them around trying to catch them! They had a blast though. The dogs came up and sniffed them and then looked at me for advice on what to do. I just told them NO and they didn't go anywhere near the chicks again. Not that I would trust them alone with them.
My 3 week old Silkies moved into the outside brooder. They don't know what to think and are a little scared right now. Poor things. They will love it when they get used to it as it is a lot more room.
