Milk

Can chickens and or ducks drink milk?

When I acquire some out of code milk (past code, but not rotten) I mix some chicken feed with it to make a mash, and serve it to the flock as a little calcium and protein boost.

Many people feed yogurt to their flocks. Back in the day skim milk was a bi-product of the dairy industry, and was fed to other livestock such as chickens and pigs.

@Red-Stars-in-RI gives milk to there chickens ,so that means they can have milk.

Well, I can't claim to have invented the idea....but it seems to work. :D

Then again, I do lots of things other chicken owners may NOT do.

Just today, I gave my flock a little stale sweet corn:
