Looking to find input on people with experience in color genetics!
I am hatching a ton of eggs from my tiny bantam flock. I believe only 2 of my hens are laying. Which I think is the Red Pyle Old English game hen and a brown red cochin hen.
Other hens I have that could be laying:
Black Old English game hen
Uncrested white silkie hen
Another brown-red cochin (Less red on the neck, almost completely black)
Black rose comb hen
Also hatching an Olive egger egg. (Blue feathering, pea comb.) (Standard size) to try my luck at maybe an olive egg-laying bantam (I've heard standard bantam crosses have not-so-good fertility, but successful offspring have all been bantams. Not much information to go off of online though.)
My rooster is a Mille Fleur boy. Lots of white on his face.
So far I have 4 bantam eggs in my tiny incubator and putting 11 more and the olive egg in my larger incubator tonight.
Would like to see if anyone has similar crosses or any guesses on what colors I could get. I'm looking for a variety of patterns and colors.
TYIA!
