Its working so well that I actually put 5 more button eggs in it! The temp has not spiked or droped dramatically! I have had to adjust it one or twice but it was tiny adjustments. I probably dont need to, but just what everybody says about it i've been basicaly bbsitting it. Its just im worried about the eggs, but so far I dont have a reason to worry other than wut other people say!

I have heard that if you set it inside a small styrofoam cooler with holes punched in it for ventilation it will hold temps a lot better.

A temp spike is when your temperature shoots up suddenly, say it's at 100 and it goes up to 125, that is a spike. Patience Grasshopper. It can be caused by an electrical surge or bumping your thermostat. It's almost impossible to prevent because they aren't planned and can happen by accident at any time.
