I have a 3 week old Wynnadott that just started woobling around this morning and can not use right leg. The leg appears to look and move the same as the other when I manually move it but as soon as I put it down the chick collapses. She uses the leg as support if it lands right to walk but it can not bare any weight. She manages to get to food and water with struggle. While she lays, she opens and closes beak repeatedly with no sound but when I pick her up she chirps. ALso while she lays this leg can go all the way infront of her. What do I do?

Hello...she could have injured it. It also sounds like it could be Mareks. I would separate her and prop her up on a towel and kind of wedge her body on either side with the towel. Makre sure she has access to food and water(keep it close to her so she can reach it). I would give her some plain yogurt or scrambled eggs. You can also give her some Poy-visol drops(these are infant vitamin drops found in the infant sention or in the medicine section of most grocery stores and walmarts)--I would give her 1/4 tsp 2x a day. In the meantime, just keep an eye on her. Keep an eye on the leg and in the meantime, do some research on Mareks. Good luck!!
