Minimum-Maximum Degrees turner (and egg size Space between racks)

I am designing my semi automatic egg turner. I need to know approximately how many degrees the eggs should turn each way from center.

What is the optimal amount?

30 deg is how much you want them to turn from center i think

30 to 35 degrees depending on your design. Obviously you don't want them to fall out! That would be bad. You can have them turn more it wont hurt, it will actually help. I hope that you post some picture when you are done!

One more question. I am laying out my egg racks right now. How much room should I keep between the racks so that I can fit chicken, turkey, pheasant, or peafowl eggs

take the biggest egg you want and leave a 1/4 inch between them

How tall are the biggest? I haven't had any other than chicken yet. I am ordering once I do a test run.

i have a turner in my LG and it has about 1/4 inch between holes , and a 1/2 inch between racks. i just do chicken eggs only
