On day 23 we check the remaining eggs that were left. One showed sings of life. My husband pipped the air cell. Like four of our other hatches, this guy was breech. I peeled off some of the shell moistened the moistened it with coconut oil and put him back in the incubator.
Several hours later he hatched himself out. He cries A LOT.
I did notice his navel is protruding a little and one leg looks as if it’s sticking out. He doesn’t stand quite normal yet.
Any thoughts?

The above is good, but if you don't have vet wrap you can use this also.

Make a leg crutch, find a rubber band the same width of the chick's leg gap. Cut a piece of drinking straw 3/4 inch long. Run the rubber band through so you have 2 loops on each end of the cut straw. Then loop it on the chick's legs.

This will help to restructure the leg muscles back into position. It doesn't work on older chicks.
