Miss Prissy Help please another homemade bator...maybe

I am thinking about a new homemade mini bator Probably 2 or 3 eggs only. I was in a thrift store today and found a baby wipey warmer I plugged it in and put the thermometer in it to test It got too hot question I have is if it will hold a constant temp if I put a dimmer in line should it lower temp?

I don't know for sure but I don't think a dimmer would work. It might be interesting to see if a thermostat would regulate it off and on to control the heat but I am not sure if the heating element is on amp or voltage. If it is voltage regulated a rheostat might would work better. Check ebay. Someone posted a few that were inexpensive last week.

hotwater heater thermostat will work .most dimmer switches are the same as a reastat.
