missing ducks

i had put my 9 mallard and 2 pekins in my pond. and the next day when i went to go chek on them some of them were missing. there was no feathers or nothing. what could have happend to them.

Coyotes...will sometime catch their prey and take it back to the den live, in order to teach their young how to hunt and kill. I know it sounds horrible, but it's nature. I really hope your ducks are just "hiding" from something and you will find them soon! I wish you luck. I lost 2 cats when I was younger due to coyotes.

I think that foxes also tend to carry they prey off too.

nope they havent been back so i think they were caught or something. im so upset now its been about 2 or 3 weeks so i think so

wich ducks went missing?

if it was the mallards, then most likely they've flown off

It could also be turtles...they will pull them underwater in a heartbeat. I am sorry for your losses.
