Missing feathers around neck

A few of my chickens have started missing feathers around their neck. . The skin is dry and it has been long enough that I dont see any new feathers coming in. I have not seen any evidence of plucking from my other hens. I don't have any Roo's. The feathers are missing up high enough and around the neck enough that they would not be able to do it themselves. There is no evidence of mites. I'm at a loss. This has been evident for about two months with no new feathers. My hens are only a year old and have not gone through a molt, but after two months I would have expected all their feathers to have come out by now. Any suggestions?

Could you post some pictures of their necks? Chickens usually molt around spring and fall time. But I would need pictures to verify what it is.

Even though all of our ducks are girls, sometimes they still grab hold of each other's necks and act as though they are mating. But they aren't. For my ducks, it's just a dominance thing. I'm not very familiar with chickens, so thus may be an incorrect assumption. I hope this helps!!!!!
