Missing feathers

Just rescued this bird. What do you think happened to feathers? How old??

maybe molting, all though im not sure. but looks to be under a yr old, not 100% sure what gender, but im guessing female. looks like a RIR, maybe crossed, but again im not 100%

Looking at the photo you posted (below), I don't see anything wrong with her feathers.

Hard to tell the age of a pullet/hen.

If this is a rescue, it would be a very good idea to keep her confined to her own area away from existing flocks so you can observe her for several weeks. Watch for signs of illness, check her over for lice/mites and if possible, get a fecal float to see is she needs deworming.

Then, you can start the integration process. Pretty girl, I hope she's happy with you.
