missing hens

our three hens turned up missing this a.m.
if they were not taken by a predator, how far might they be able to travel?
they are approx. 6-7 weeks old and do not have their wings clipped.
they have been outdoors for about a week now and were doing fine.
please offer any suggestion as to how far and where to check.

Were they locked in a coop? In a run? Turned out loose? Did you see her go to roost last nite?

in a run. same one they have been using all week with out escaping

This happend to me also.

Exept ten chickens were missing and we only found 3 and a half. [dead]
