My roo has been missing since thursday morning. I have no idea if he was taken by a predator or what. I am assuming so. I saw him last around 10 am I have not either heard or saw him since. Neither have my neighbors. Thursday morning DH and the dogs scared off three coyotes, but when he does that they usually stay away for a few weeks. Our dogs were out at ten am also. I heard no barking, or roo warning sounds, it was totally silent. My neighbor thinks he might have gotten scared and be hiding. We have been having freezing temps , hail, rain and snow. That leaves us with one lone hen after the deaths of our other roo and hens earlier this year. She is very lonely and doesn't know what to do. I continue to hope he returns, but I really don't have much hope.
