Located in GA so lots of heat and tons of humidity. Broke down and bought some misters since it has been 90+ for over a month. I currently have the misters inside the run with a cycle of 5 sec spray at the top of every hour beginning at 11am. Was wondering if to maximize cooling, I should move the misters to the outside of the run tarped roof, and maybe place one over the coop roof, too. There’s tons of shade, cool water multiple times a day, frozen treats, and fans running. They’re not too keen on walking in shallow water pools or sitting against large ice block containers. And if I can make them more comfortable, I will do it. Thanks!

I love your ideas!

The only thing I would caution you is making poopy soil permanently wet could start coccidiosis growing. If your flock are adults who've been outside for quite some time, they've probably built up immunities to it. Just mentioning that as we had two get it recently from exactly that, wet, mucky, poopy area and they had just been put out there the day before it rained so never built up any immunities.
