misting eggs

does anyone here mist their eggs? If the humidity is good, does misting make a difference? What about at the end, near hatch time?

I mist!!! But not if the humidity is good. I usually don't put a pan of water or anything in the bottom because our house is way too humid anyway. The heat from the 'bator causes the humidity to lower inside to a safe level. I mist every five days or so, just once, until the last days. If the humidity drops low or if it's not rising for the last days, I mist more often.

I mist anyway with fantastic results. Your goal at the end is to make sure the membrane does not dry out and even a little high humidity won't hurt anything.
