Misty is my splash orp from Cyn by Suede. She has been clucking for three weeks like a setting hen. Yesterday she really went for it. I could pick her up and she would just flop. I talked to Scott about eggs. I moved her to the broodies area. She went berserk .........screeching and refusing the nest. I am going to leave her in there overnight Keep you fingers crossed that she will accept it. Crazy babies. I want some dells and rocks. gloria Jean

I have some black cochin large fowl eggs available.

I have a lot better luck if I let them stay in the spot they like for the day and then move them where I want them after dark. They're too sleepy to put up much of a fuss and by morning they just kind of accept it and go back to their broody trance. If they seem inclined to freak out I'll keep the new broody area as dark as I can for the first day.

I am leaving her in there overnite and hope she gets it sometime tonight or in the am. My other broodie cooperated so good. Its all Cyn. faught with those high falutting ladies of hers.

I can barely wait for some dels. and also the bbs rocks. Scott I am trying. I will let you know when she sticks again.
