Mite?

Not amazing pictures but I found these on a water dish in the grass we leave out for the chickens during the day. Is is a mite? I live in east central Illinois.

Hubs said that too. But I still went on a DE rampage and added some to all their dust bathing areas. Took pics and ran to here to post them. I have to say I was kinda freaking out. Hahaha!
