Someone gave us a rooster (I should not have taken him) and he has mites. I have been treating him for more than a month- and we still have mites. Luckley they have not gotten on my 200 other birds- even though they wander around his cage. They are huge dust bathers and I treat their dusting spaces. But what do I do for him?
I have tired medicated, spray, non-medicated powers and NOTHING is working- and have treated his cage and even moved his cages. I am about to have someone take him for a walk in the woods.
