Hi there! Safeguard aquasol.... It's quite expensive so you can find a small amount by searching online. I got 10 mLs for around $20 but it treats quite a bit of birds.... It comes with instructions on how to dilute it or if you have the funds for it, you can buy it online or some local stores might carry it, but that's what I've read. Helps the best.

good morning, thank you for your response, I use the Safe Guard paste on my horses (fenbendazole) what do you think about use for chickens?, some one else told me that Panacure (also fenbendazole) is good for Gape Worm. i read that many vet's use Panacur in their office if I were to take the rooster in..Panacur is another paste dewormer i use on my horses, we have to alternate dewormers regularly other wise the parasites become resistant.

Yes, that's what you want to use, however the paste might be too difficult to dose. There's a type that goes on the water... So it treats everyone...it's safeguard aquasol .

SafeGuard or Panacur paste 10% fenbendazole are fine to use for worms. Dosage is 0.25 ml (1/4 ml) per pound of weight given orally for 5 straight days. That will treat round, cecal, capillary, and gape worms. If given once, it will only treat roundworms. There is a 14 days egg withdrawal time. By the way, SafeGuard Aquasol is a weaker version of fenbendazole, given for 5 days, and at that dose only will treat roundworms.
