Mites?

I believe that my chickens have mites. No poopy butt but I'm noticing many are missing chest feathers. My problem is a I can't find anywhere what ratio of permethrin I should use on my chickens. I have the permethrin10 liquid. Do I just put a couple drops on my birds or do I dilute it?

I got it thank. Here another question. Will mites make my girls lay smaller eggs? Or could it be the heat?

Any kind of stress can have an effect on laying. Heat, mites, really all kinds of things can have an impact. It's very hot where I am right now, I'm not getting many eggs a day, and I have a couple laying small ones. I also have some pullets at point of lay, so the smaller eggs may be theirs though, haven't pinpointed who it is exactly yet.
