I'm not sure if there were any silkie hens in there. Also wouldn't the single comb be wrong for a pure silkie?Could it be a partridge silky?

Just curious if you every figured out what this chick is mixed with? I have a chick that looks just like that. It doesn't have the 5 toes like a silkie but I had other chicks that looked like it with the 5 toes and the person I got the eggs from definitely had silkies.
she was definitely a silkie mix. Unfortunately we had a MG outbreak last year and culled all birds, including this chick, soon after I made this original post.Just curious if you every figured out what this chick is mixed with? Oh no, sorry to hear. Mine is 4 weeks old and starting to feather out so I really hope I can figure out what it is. Like I said I had others that looked like it and some of them had 5 toes so I'm fairly certain it came from the same parent as those so it must be part silkie.she was definitely a silkie mix.
