We have 3 almost 6 month old pekins (2 gals 1 guy) the girls have just started laying. we also have 3 younger ducks (8wks old) 2 pekins and a black blue swedish. We are beging introductions and need to know what to feed the group once they are all together. Currently the older ducks get flockraiser (we also have 25 chickens) and the younger ducks get starter grower feed. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Everyone can actually be on flock raiser.
Great that is very good to know Thank you

So, if some of my ducks are laying and others aren't, I can feed them all flock raiser and just leave out oyster shell and the laying ducks will eat it? They will get enough calcium this way?
That is what i did when my chickens started laying half were laying age and half were 8 weeks younger so i offered oyster shell free choice and gave flock raiser to everyone including the ducks who were not laying yet. From what Kevin565 is saying i think the same applies to multi age duck groups.

Yes they will have sufficient calcium that way. Only the ducks that need the calcium will eat the oyster shells.

Well, that will sure make it easier! I had thought I could do it that way, but it's nice to get confirmation. I was worried about feeding layer pellets and having the drake eat it, since they aren't supposed to have that extra calcium. I've already bought a bag of oyster shell, and I have a little two-part feeder screwed into the wall of the duck house. Half holds their grit, and the other half will hold oyster shell. So, everyone can get what they need, but not get anything they don't need.
